Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Tables will be booked for 2 hours. Additional time can be allocated by personal request but this is at the discretion of the restaurant manager.

By making a reservation at Lovage you agree to our reservation and cancellations policy.

All reservations require credit or debit card details to secure the booking – please be aware that your table can only be reserved with this information. No charge will be made to your card if your reservation is honoured.

For Large tables of 6 or over we require a deposit of £20 per person, for cancellations made with less then 24 hours notice the deposit will be non- refundable.

Please note our menu can change daily as our food is fresh and seasonal and depends on availability, therefore we advise you reserve a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

The times stated below are reservation time slots. Our restaurant does not close at these times. All reservations have a minimum of 2 hours at the table, but you are welcome to stay longer to enjoy your afternoon or evening with us. 

We are open Thursday to Saturday 12pm – 2pm and 5pm to 8.45pm and on Sundays we open 12pm – 5:15pm.

Our menu can be adapted for all dietary requirements. Ideally a minimum of 24hrs notice is required to guarantee availability of our dishes.

With great regret, our restaurant is not wheelchair friendly due to steps at the front entrance and our toilets being located downstairs. We have tried our hardest to overcome this issue but sadly this is beyond our control.

Parking outside the front of the restaurant, down St Georges Terrace and on nearby side streets offer 2 hours free parking before 6:30pm. After this time parking on these streets has no limitations. Osbourne Road (nearest the tennis club) offers parking all day free of charge. The nearest metro stations (West Jesmond) is less than a ten-minute walk.
